giant centipede eating mouse

Damn, this is pretty darn scary: It's a video of a giant centipede eating a mouse. Like, the whole thing.

listened to a podcast recorded at the 2005 BlogHer conference. the podcast was about blog design, and between lots of keep-an-eye-on-bandwidth and make-it-nice-and-usable yallayalla there was quite a bit of good stuff. i was really surprised to hear, though, how many of those bloggers were & are willing to hire a designer to re-design their weblogs. It had never occured to me before that people would hire pros to design their non-commercial, spare time activities. scary, in a way. well, and very committed, that's for sure.

blog design, anyone? (It'll look better than this one, promise ;-)
